A skincare storefront built around discovery, thoughtful product details, and a routine your customers can assemble step by step.
Get started
Add Nacar from the Shopify Theme Store to your theme library. Work in an unpublished copy while you configure and test your storefront.
Open Online Store → Themes → Customize. Choose the Nacar preset and review the homepage sections.
In Theme settings, choose your logo, favicon, font, colors, page width, and corner styles.
Set up your products, images, collections, navigation, shipping, taxes, and payments in Shopify Admin. Nacar uses Shopify’s catalog and checkout settings.
Preview desktop and mobile, place a test order using Shopify’s test payment setup, and publish when your store is ready.
Demo photographs and products are examples. They are not copied into your store when you install the theme. The preset provides the layout, typography, colors, and section arrangement.
Navigation and contact links
The header uses the Main menu and the footer uses the Footer menu. Edit those menus in Shopify Admin. Nested menu items are supported. In the header’s Floating header block, choose which mobile shortcuts to show. If you use WhatsApp, enter the complete international number; the shortcut appears only when a number is configured.
Build the homepage
Use Image banner for the opening message and two calls to action. Collection tiles link to collections; Featured collection displays products from a selected collection. Image with text pairs a photograph with your story. Store highlights, Routine builder, and FAQ provide supporting information.
Choose images and resources in every visible section. Preview each button to confirm its destination. Add only reviews, claims, badges, and store policies that your business can substantiate. The Testimonials section is optional and is not included in the default homepage.
Use the editor to add, remove, and reorder supported sections on JSON templates. Make a duplicate of the theme before changing code.
Configure the routine studio
Add or open the Routine selector section.
Write a title and explanation for each of the six steps. The 3-step routine uses steps 1–3; the 4-step routine uses steps 1–4; the 6-step routine uses all steps.
For each step, select a collection or use Curated products. A curated list takes priority over the collection. Choose products that fit the step and avoid repeating the same essential across steps.
Set Products per step, then check the visible options and prices in each routine length.
The selector includes available products that can be purchased once. Products that require a selling plan are omitted. Each option adds its first available variant; direct customers to the product page when they need another size, option, or subscription.
Brand and category filters use your catalog’s vendor and product type. Price sorting uses the current storefront prices. A customer must have one available selection per step before adding the full routine. Shopify validates availability again when the routine is added; errors appear beside the button.
Routine advisor
Routine advisor is an alternative section using individual product option blocks. Set a routine length and step number for each block, then choose the product. Use the built-in quiz to explain routine lengths. The quiz is shopping guidance; it does not diagnose skin conditions.
Product pages and collections
Product information is organized into movable blocks: title, price, options, selling plans, quantity, buy buttons, description, collapsible rows, pickup availability, custom Liquid, and app blocks. Keep the variant picker and buy buttons visible for products with options. The price and availability refresh when a customer selects an option.
Upload product media in Shopify Admin. Product pages support images, video, external video, and 3D models. Add descriptive alternative text to images. Product recommendations use Shopify’s recommendations; allow a moment for them to load.
Gift card products show an optional recipient form. A recipient email is required when the customer chooses to send the gift card to another person. Selling plans and pickup information appear only when configured in Shopify. App blocks require an installed compatible app.
Collection filtering uses the filters available in Shopify. Configure them in Shopify Search & Discovery. Enable filtering and sorting in the Collection section. Products and collections with no content have an empty state.
Cart
The cart supports quantity changes, line removal, order notes, and Shopify’s discount amounts. Checkout and available accelerated payment methods are provided by Shopify. Prices, stock, taxes, shipping, and payment methods are managed in Shopify Admin.
Languages and markets
Nacar includes English and Spanish interface and editor translations. Publish the languages and markets you want to offer in Shopify Admin. Country and language selectors use the choices available in your store and can be selected independently.
Translate your product descriptions, collections, navigation, pages, and section copy using Shopify’s translation tools. Theme interface translations do not automatically translate your merchant content. Preview every published language before launching.
Accessibility and images
Use clear link labels, descriptive image text, and strong text contrast when customizing colors. Customers can use a keyboard and a skip link to reach the main content. The theme respects reduced-motion preferences. Use well-composed images rather than embedding headings or buttons in photographs.
Questions and troubleshooting
Why is a collection or routine step empty?
Confirm that the collection contains active products published to the Online Store, and that available variants can be purchased without a required selling plan. Check any automatic collection conditions. Alternatively, choose Curated products for that step.
Why is the routine button unavailable?
Every step needs an available selection. Reset filters, complete each step, and try again. If stock changes during shopping, Shopify may return an availability message.
Why is some text in another language?
Check both your theme language content and the translations of products, menus, pages, and section settings. Publishing a language alone does not translate merchant content.
How do I update?
Use the update available in the Shopify theme library. Review the new version in a duplicate before publishing, especially if your theme has custom code or app integrations. Keep a copy of your previous theme for rollback.
How do I get support?
Send a support request with your store URL, theme version, reproduction steps, and a screenshot. Theme support covers configuration questions and fixes to Nacar. Custom development and third-party app work are separate services.
